ZERO. hello, ramses here. 25+ years old teacher, interpreter and aspiring academic with a passion for classical literature, history, mythology and music. sagittarius, entj+a, she/they.ONE. first of all, i will not be interacting with non-mutuals. if i havenβt followed you back in at least a week it probably means iβm simply not interested in interacting with you, which is hardly a crime.TWO. this isn't a duplicate friendly blog unless i'm familiar with the mun. there are many headcanons i base my portrayal on, and although no one is obliged to agree with or enjoy them i'd like them to be respected and not used by others with the same or similar muses so in order to avoid overlapping of portrayals i prefer steering clear of duplicates.THREE. i will not be interacting with people under the age of 21 and with people who have discouragingly long dni / trigger lists. i am over 25 myself and i get extremely uncomfortable writing with someone around whom iβll have to filter myself all the time.FOUR. i will not tolerate racism, homophobia, transphobia, godmodding, force-shipping, zionism, ooc drama, purity culture, rp policing, constant callouts, constant vagues, sad baiting, ooc hostility towards me or my character. soft / hard blocking and moving on costs literally nothing, no need to make this place anxiety-inducing and inhospitable for yourselves and others. *i acknowledge the fact my muse is not a likeable person and that some of the themes i'll be exploring here are controversial, but i am also capable of differentiating fiction from reality and if you are unable to follow suit, you are welcome to block and move on instead of taking it upon yourself to dictate what people should or should not be doing on their personal platforms because not all of us are here to get woke points & validation from a bunch of strangers on the internet.
*in addition to the previous paragraph ; please know that excessive & continuous negativity targeting aegon ii / team green will not be tolerated. this does not mean i expect all my mutuals to like them, of course, but if you cannot keep your ooc feelings somewhat contained and are likely to bring continuous negative discourse to my dash, i am very likely to soft-block, as i can't see the point in following a blog based on the source of your ire and i won't be made to feel bad for focusing on topics / characters someone who attempts to appear as morally superior, does not.
FIVE. i will portray my character the way i see fit. he will be mostly headcanon based ( and certain mostly-show elements will be excluded in my writing such as rape, poor high valyrian, his involvement in the battle of rook's rest being improvised / impulsive and getting crippled due to aemond's attempt on his life so please do refrain from mentioning such things during our interactions ) and although i do not intend to glorify, justify, alter OR exaggerate all of his questionable actions, i also don't wish to whitewash him for the sake of the tender-hearted since some of his flaws made him a compelling character to me in the first place. this however does not mean i will let him be woobified and / cartoonishly villainized, i try to maintain a certain balance where he's neither as despicable and incompetent as the show makes him out to be nor some tragic hero to simply root for.SIX. i will not allow myself to be guilt-tripped or vagued for any reason, and you will be confronted directly for clarification if such behavior occurs. also note that i can be extremely slow due to real life events or lack of motivation to write.SEVEN. i prefer multi para in terms of length, and i will only interact with literate to advance literate writers. my preferred point of view is third-person omniscient and i frequently make use of stream of consciousness and monologuesβsometimes with minimum action and dialogue in the reply, so be warned. i always trim my posts so my own reply is the only thing that remains. if i've answered an ic ask you had sent, you are always allowed and encouraged to turn it into a thread.EIGHT. as stated above rape is not and will never be something i write explicitly or vaguely, however period-accurate entitled & flirtatious privileged male behavior may still occur ( this never means i'm trying to impose a ship ! ). for other potentially uncomfortable treatment you may receive from my muse please check the personality & psychology subtitles in the about section. lastly, please note that this character is set in a universe filled with dark themes and my portrayal will include incest, violence, religious trauma, unhealthy coping mechanisms & mental disordersβall in a critical way. if this still makes you uncomfortable i urge you to hard block me so that i can't follow / refollow due to being oblivious to the fact i've been soft blocked before. no hard feelings as long as everyone acts their age.

SUMMARY. aegon ii targaryen, also known as aegon the elder, was the sixth targaryen king to sit the iron throne, succeeding his father, viserys i targaryen, as lord of the seven kingdoms. his ascent was disputed by his older half-sister, princess rhaenyra targaryen, who had been their father's designated heir. aegon and rhaenyra fought for the throne in the civil war the singers called the dance of the dragons, in which both siblings perished.PERSONALITY. said to be "quick to anger and slow to forgive", aegon ii was easily slighted. he never forgot an insult nor fully recovered from the poor treatment he was subjected to in the past. he was a lazy and capricious boy in his youth, too self-indulgent and easily bored so he seldom trainedβ preferring to learn just enough to hold on his own when it comes to combat and academic studies rather than attempting to excel in them, his severe adhd also making it difficult for him to remain concentrated for long. instead he found joy in feasts and merriment, becoming quite gluttonous and later addicted to sweet arbor. aegon had a passion for food ( especially desserts ), alcohol, and music. lust-driven and vigorous, he also enjoyed seducing comely women at every given opportunity, mostly the serving girls at the keep. despite his vain, carefree and fun-loving exterior aegon was extremely insecure, co-dependent and melancholic on the inside. he reacted poorly to stress and was quick to lash out, often using alcohol and sex to cope with his crippling sense of inadequacy. aegon was extremely fond of his splendid mount sunfyre the golden, preferring his company to his family's on exceptionally bad days. aegon suffered from spiritual abuse, often weeping and fervently praying to the seven for absolution after particularly heinous acts.PSYCHOLOGY. either because of life events or genetic factors, aegon ii suffered from several mental disorders according to my personal opinion and analysis of his behavior, and the most prominent ones are listed here - which will be crucial for my portrayal of him. please note that this is by no means an attempt at trying to justify his misdeeds and overall unpleasant character, but simply some additional information to help you understand him better if you wish to form a bond ;histrionic personality disorder. characterized by a pattern of excessive attention-seeking behaviors, usually beginning in early childhood, including inappropriate seduction and an excessive desire for approval. people diagnosed with the disorder are said to be lively, dramatic, vivacious, enthusiastic, extroverted and flirtatious.

in this verse, aegon was never crowned king. instead he managed to escape westeros and the terrible fate awaiting him to start a new life under a new identity in the free cities ; a wealthy, lecherous wine merchant. he dyes his hair black to avoid being recognized, and although the unusual color of his eyes still draw unwanted attention every once in a while he's often believed to be dragonseed. having left his family in great peril does cause aegon distress, but he still tries to start anew where he can drink and rave and host scandalous gatherings to his heart's desire, feel safe and happy for the firs time in his young life β for a time.
TWO. modern au.
set in the modern world, aegon has renounced his inheritance and leads a salacious life away from his estranged family. he is the frontman of the emerging indie / metalcore band the atonement club, and has a disturbingly popular onlyfans account. when he isn't hosting extravagant house parties or making music, aegon enjoys gaming and streaming. he is a single parent and his children are looked after by his mother due to his less than ideal lifestyle. details will be discussed and developed with writing partners depending on the thread / dynamic.
